NRA Endorses Berthel in Senate Race

State Rep. Eric Berthel, candidate for the 32nd District state senate seat, announced today that he has received the endorsement from the National Rifle Association. The Virginia-based organization fights to protect the rights of law-abiding gun owners, and it has identified Berthel as a legislator who will advocate for residents of the 10-town district who hold dear their lawful right to keep and bear arms. Berthel, a Republican, was elected to his second term in the state's House of Representatives in November. The election for the 32nd District state senate seat, vacated by Rob Kane, is Feb. 28.
